Doesn't sound like my kind of movie, but I'll be watching it regardless. Tis lying around on my HD already, among a few others that I will be screening through this afternoon.

Don't do it man! Unless you have a female shoulder to lean on, don't watch it! For your own good, heed my warning.

i saw this movie with my friends, and we were being assholes in the theatre by talking loud and tellin the people in the theatre what they can go do with themselves \m/

I'm sure even your assholish shenanigans weren't enough to make your money seem well spent.

IS YOU ONE OF THEM HOMO ASS RAPER TYPES?

Whats it to ya?

this movie wasent meant to be a chick flick dude. it was meant to be taken seriously as a film, and if you actually watch the movie you will notice some very genius literary devices at work. its not a movie just for entertainment and plot, it has meaning.

However, the meaning is overshadowed by bad plot and cheesy jokes. Like I said, Juno doesn't seem to learn any lesson from things, even after she has the child. The performances were stale from most of the cast, which made it hard to take seriously. Go and watch Knocked up. Not only is it more entertaining, but the message is much stronger.

Good review - Perhaps I'll take your advice and watch it alongside my girlfriend.

...and get her pregnant on the couch halfway through.

Yay for unrelated, low budget, direct to DVD sequels!!

Sup sexy?

I completely disagree with this review. Although it is very well done and thought out... I still can't see how you think it's a chick flick.

The other thing I'd say is that it definitely deserved more than 2/5 in my books.

The film is very important to me. It basically raises awareness to teenage pregnancy, in a comical way, it shows the struggles and hurt that come with teenage pregnancy. I have had first off experience with this subject and the film was very moving for me.

I see what you are saying when you say that the film doesn't focus on any other characters for very long. And this is a big problem with the film I will admit, you got that spot on. But 2/5 is just too harsh.

I'd give it 3/5 if not 4/5

Good read none the less, thanks for that.

I understand how this film may hold a certain significance to you. I am just dissapointed that the film didn't make the message clearer. A lot of the time it seems to be poking fun at teen pregnancy, or even glorifying it, moreso than raising awareness.

This review wasn't about the ideas behind the film, it was about the film itself. Based on plot, humour etc. it fell below par. I may have given it a harsh score because I was mad that I blew my chances with the girl. I think I'll go hire it tomorrow and watch it again with a clear head, and give it a more fair review.

Thank you for your comments about my writing, I appreciate it. I think I should do another review on Dark Knight, unfortunately I'm a bit of a procrastinator on that behalf.

This could have been a funny and still serious chick flick movie, however is was just boring... we saw Jason Bateman and Ellen Page's characters getting along and talking a lot, but what about the scenes between Juno and Paulie? We hardly got any of those. It was just a boring movie and it could've been more than what it was. How in the hell it got an Oscar for screenplay is beyond me.

I disapproved greatly of this movie. Absolutely none of the characters were believable.

The movie was boring. I hated it. Edn.

I thought Juno was pretty good!
